At Positive Steps ABA, we provide compassionate, evidence-based behavior therapy designed to help children and families thrive. Our programs are built around the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) — a science-backed approach that helps individuals build meaningful skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and improve quality of life.
Our early intervention program supports children ages 18 months to 6 years in developing foundational communication, play, and social skills. Therapists work one-on-one to build skills through natural play, routines, and positive reinforcement.

We offer small-group sessions that teach children how to connect, share, and play with peers. Each group is led by trained therapists and tailored to age and skill level.
Children practice:
We understand that beginning ABA therapy can feel overwhelming — our team is here to guide your family through every step with clarity, compassion, and professionalism.
Our friendly onboarding coordinators will collect important information about your child, including developmental history, behavioral concerns, and therapy goals. This helps us determine whether Positive Steps ABA is the right fit to meet your child’s needs.
Once onboarding information is received, our billing team will verify your insurance benefits to confirm coverage details and obtain authorization for ABA services. We’ll walk you through the process and review any financial responsibilities before starting services.
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will conduct a comprehensive skills and behavior assessment to identify strengths, needs, and target goals for therapy. This may include direct observation, standardized tools, and family interviews.
Based on the assessment results, the BCBA will create an individualized treatment plan outlining therapy goals, intervention strategies, therapy hours per week, and measurable outcomes. The plan is shared with parents for review and approval before therapy begins and submitted to insurance for authorization.
Your child will begin regular therapy sessions at Positive Steps ABA center with Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) under the supervision of a BCBA. We also conduct monthly parent training sessions to ensure families are actively involved and empowered to support progress at home.
We’re here to guide your family every step of the way.
